Quambatook 2017

Quambatook is an outdoor State Camp for 10-17 year old Guides.

The camp takes place Monday 2 October 2017 - Thursday 5 October 2017.

The closing date will be 15 June 2017 with a deposit of $100.

Final Payment will be due 31 July 2017.


Youth Member Information

What’s covered:

  • Transport from all areas of Tasmania
  • All your food (except for a packed lunch on the first day)
  • Accommodation in tents for 3 nights
  • Emergency medical help available
  • On site activities such as personal care, craft, photography, bush walking, option of sleeping on tree platforms, fishing plus much much more....

 

Other information:

  • Kit List – all girls will need a bedroll, warm clothes, sensible enclosed shoes plus a good water proof coat.
  • Further information will be sent to your preferred email at various times in the lead up to camp, including a health form, kit list and activity options.

Full Fee:  $309

Balance Full Fee:  $209 - Due 31 July 2017

Direct deposits and periodic payments are available.  

Cheques must be made payable to Girl Guides Tasmania with the Membership Number, QAM17 and surname written on the back.

Adult Volunteer Information

  • Participation and assisting in:
    • an overnight adventure
    • on site activities

  • Further information will be sent to your preferred email at various times in the lead up to camp, including a health form, kit list and your role at camp.


Part Time Adults

If only able to attend camp for a specific day/s, more information will be available at a later date.

To navigate back to complete the Quambatook registration click on What's On > Upcoming Events > Quambatook 2017 scroll to the bottom of the page to complete the registration process.

It is essential you LOG in to register for the event with your GGT membership number (starts with  70xxxx).  Your password is your DOB in 8 digit format eg DDMMYYYY.

Interstate Girl Guide members - please email Guide House on [email protected] stating your interest in attending Quambatook and include your State membership ID, name and DOB and we will send you a specific log in details to complete the registration process.

A CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES TASMANIA

  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Tasmania, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
